Resolutions #2


I will walk 10000 steps a day. This is something I need to work up to, but that's the point of a goal, right? I have already determined how I will go about this. I just purchased Walk Away the Pounds with bands for toning along with the workout videos. Yes, they are sometimes tedious but I figure with this and the treadmill, I will be able to keep myself motivated. So if anyone is interested in taking a walk and don't mind having a 50 lb Basset along for the stroll, give me a call. I''ll be more than willing.

How far is 1000 steps? Good luck with the goal. Jill signed up for the des news 10k last year and it really motivated her. Goals are what make us better. Aren't we a Goal Orienated people?

10000 steps is roughly 5 miles

Do you have a video game system? I know it sounds lame, but for Christmas I got Dance Dance Revolution and it has made exercise less boring for me (and the cold weather isn't an excuse not to exercise anymore). Anyway, it's pretty fun - might be worth a try if you have to take so many steps. Chris can do it with you too. :)
